چکیده
In this study, a combined process of reduction and adsorption for the degradation azo dye with nanocrystalline Fe80Si10B10 powder as reducing agent is analyzed. A mechanical alloying technique produced powdered alloys needed redox process. The synthesized structure favors efficiency step Reactive Black 5 (RB5) dye. According to UV-Vis analysis, reductive alone allowed nearly complete color removal after 3 min reaction. regard, nanocrystallized FeSiB has excellent application potential in first processes degrading solutions. Indeed, outperforms commercial Fe powders terms because formation multiple micro-batteries between ?-Fe solid solution Fe3Si phases, favoring loss electrons from iron exhibiting different corrosion resistance. second step, process, efficient intermediate undesired compounds processes, principally aromatic amines, Different adsorbents, including wood, graphene oxide, activated carbon, pine particles, were used. results suggest that oxide activate carbon performed best secondary product following RB5 degradation. current study could serve guide environmental applications, such industrial wastewater treatment, using metallic by high-energy alloying.

This study examined the photolytic degradation of C.I. Acid Red 73 AR73 diazo dye, in aqueous solution by combined UV, hydrogen peroxide and KMnO4. A continuous circulated photoreactor equipped with a low pressure mercury lamp 15 W, emission 253.7 nm was used. In the first step, potassium permanganate was used for decolourisation of AR73 dye solution. The effect of the key operating variables s...
متن کاملRemoval of hazardous reactive blue19 dye from aqueous solutions by agricultural waste
Low-cost grapefruit peel (Agricultural Waste) was used for removal of reactive blue19 dye fromaqueous solutions. The process was studied as a function of contact time, initial dye concentration andpH. Adsorption process was attained to the equilibrium within 45 min for initial dye concentrations of 50,75, and 100 mg L-1. An acidic medium was the optimum condition for adsorption of dye at roomte...
متن کاملRemoval of textile dye from aqueous solutions by nanofiltration process
The feasibility of employing nanofiltration (NF) in the decolorization of ionic (direct blue 86) and nonionic (disperse blue 56) dye aqueous solutions was investigated. The effects of feed concentration (60- 180 mg/l), pressure (0.5- 1.1 MPa) and pH (6- 10) were studied. Experiments were performed in a laboratory- scale set up by using a TFC commercial spiral wound polyamide nanofilter. The res...
